Galloping Goose inspired by family walks along Victoria’s Galloping Goose trail, this colourway captures the icy cool teal of glass insulators we hunted along the trail and the ashen, browns of the weathered wooden telegraph poles. Many of the old poles that ran along the rail line are still there in various broken states and glass insulators (usually broken) can often be found at the base if you look hard enough.
Superwash Blueface Leicester Nylon Fingering BFL wool is well known for its softness, strength and resistance to pilling. Spun with nylon and plenty of twist for strength, but also lofty and luxurious, this yarn is perfect for next to the skin wear, mittens, socks and more. The natural golden hue of this fibre brings a lovely warmth and depth to dye colours and the extra length of the wool makes it a sturdy workhorse for socks.
