Border Girl is a rich Magenta and Bue skinny striping colourway inspired by one of my favourite songs by a UK band named Young Fathers. The two colours fade in and out of each other across half of the skein creating cool stripes of magenta and blue with periwinkle, purple and carribean blue gradients where they meet. This yarn will create thin stripes across projects with small stitch repeats like mittens, socks or fingerless gloves and projects with consistently increasing or decreasing stitch counts like triangular shawls.
Superwash Merino Nylon Fingering is a superwash merino and nylon blended sock yarn, soft and lofty enough for delicate shawl knitting but with good solid twist to define stitches and lend strength to finished fabrics. This yarn is versatile, perfect for sock, mittens and garments that will be well worn and subject to wear and tear and delicate slow fashion projects. The fibres have great loft and the shiny sheen of the merino and nylon bring depth and shine to the vibrant hand painted colours.
